Exim Spam Protection — Rspamd & SMTP Security
Exim is the default MTA on cPanel servers. Inbound spam is scored via Rspamd/SA; outbound abuse is limited with auth and rate caps.
Inbound pipeline
- DNSBL checks
- Greylisting
- Rspamd score > 15 → reject
- ClamAV optional scan
Outbound
SMTP auth required; block raw port 25 from clients. Per-account hourly caps.
SPF / DKIM
Enable in cPanel Email Authentication.
