Our backup services and responsibilities
On hosting and reseller services we take automatic server backups every 3 days. These backups are for possible system failures. Customers are obliged to keep their own backups; Dodo Bilişim may share backups with customers at its discretion on a goodwill basis.
For hardware or software issues on hosting, reseller and SEO reseller servers, the service owner is responsible for their own backup. Our company is never liable.
Backups apply to sites under 5 GB. Sites over 5 GB are outside backup coverage; we are not liable for issues on those sites. The customer must keep their own backups.
Websites over 5 GB are backed up monthly only, with no data guarantee.
Dodo Bilişim performs backups only to help mitigate systemic issues. Backup responsibility remains with the customer; Dodo Bilişim cannot be held liable for any data loss.
Backups for expired or cancelled services are deleted with the account and cannot be restored.
On VPS and VDS services we take weekly server backups for possible system failures. We may share backups with customers at our discretion on a goodwill basis.
We are not responsible for errors in backups. On virtual servers, backups are server-based (not site-based), so a single site cannot be restored alone. Customers must perform their own backups.
Dedicated servers include no paid or free backup service. Backup and retention are 100% the customer’s responsibility.
Accounts more than 7 days past the due date are deleted from servers regardless of account type. For services cancelled due to non-payment, accounts (including backups) are removed; customers cannot request backups after the service ends. Dodo Bilişim is not liable for any resulting data loss.
